Advantage pro series is the best jig on the market!
5 out of 5
tlovell2010 – :
We’re taking the D&L Advantage Pro jig in 3/4 oz., making “Hail Mary” (long) casts to deep (18-25 ft.) thick (!!!) beds of offshore moss/grass beds (Hydrilla, Coontail & Milfoil). I’m calling it a “longcast-punching”. The D&L jig slides through the thick grass with an excellent head design that allows it to be “feathered” while falling to the more open cavernous areas underneath the grass, where the stems emerge from the bottom. Working the jig with a 6″-8″ “slow-pop” off the bottom We are limiting out w/3-4 lb. largemouth, & the occasional slob-sized spotted bass. No smaller fish even being caught- every time we set the hook, it’s the larger 3-4 lb.’ers! The D&L Advantage Pro head w/that Gamakatsu hook is just plumb deadly! My new favorite “grass-jig” & I’m buying more–> Right now! 10 STARS!
